Running for a Cause - Team Murfo Joins the Birmingham MoRun
This November, Team Murfo laced up their trainers once again to take part in the Birmingham MoRun, a nationwide event supporting Movember, the leading charity for men’s mental health and wellbeing.
Dominic and Cherie were joined this year by Cherie’s father and Dominic’s father-in-law, Kev, proudly representing Murfo as they ran the 10k course in 1 hour and 12 minutes. The day was filled with energy, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose as runners across the UK came together to raise awareness for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer.
For Dominic and Cherie, this marks the second year running they have taken part in the MoRun, continuing a personal commitment to support open conversations around men’s mental health. As Dominic shared, “It’s about more than the miles, it’s about making sure people know it’s okay to talk and that help is out there.”
The event, held in Birmingham’s beautiful parkland, brought together runners of all ages and abilities. From first-time participants to seasoned athletes, everyone shared one goal: to make a difference.
Murfo is proud to stand behind initiatives like Movember, shining a light on the importance of mental health awareness and early detection. Together, small steps add up to big change.
